An absolutely lovely Edwardian (ca1910) era diamond engagement ring! This gorgeous piece has a two tone setting and holds a single old European Cut diamond in the center. The diamond has a total weight of approximately 0.40ct with I color and SI1 clarity. Crafted in beautiful mixed metals, the setting of the diamond is platinum, while the band of the ring is 18kt yellow gold. The inside of the band is stamped "18CT," and "PLAT." The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in April 2018 and has a stated replacement value of $2,200.00. Both lovely and unique, it looks beautiful when worn and would make a gorgeous engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.25 but it could be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and gold setting or to the diamond stone, which is intact.
